For the fourth year in a row, COSMOTE Romania supports young students through the COSMOTE Scholarships programme

Education is one of the most important pillars of each society and the grounds for a better future for each one of us. As part of its commitment to the society, COSMOTE Romania continues to support the young talented students and future professionals throughout the COSMOTE Scholarships programme, now at its fourth edition. The value of a scholarship is 800 RON/month, for nine months (October – June, during the school year) throughout the performance of the university studies, and in accordance with the provisions from the participation regulation for the contest, “The COSMOTE Scholarships”, Edition 2013.
 
Since 2010, 15 young students have benefited from financial support from COSMOTE Romania, following the previous 3 editions of the educational programme developed by the telecom operator. “We are proud to see already some of our students graduating from university and taking part in the society’s development. Each year, we meet with them and we are able to see true passion and desire to get involved in as many activities as possible. As the case in every other year, we are looking forward to meeting the new candidates of the fourth edition of COSMOTE Scholarships”, stated Ruxandra Voda, Corporate Communications General Manager Romania.
 
The 2013 edition will take place during September 16^th and November 21^st, and will include two phases. The first phase, which is also eliminatory, will take place between September 16^th and October 15^th inclusive and implies filling and submitting a registration file as per the provisions of the above mentioned regulations. After the files will be carefully analyzed, 25 candidates will be designated following the submission of the registration files. In the second phase which will take place on November 18^th and 19^th 2013, the 25 candidates will be interviewed by a jury, which will decide the 5 winners. The winners will be announced on November 21^st 2013, on www.burselecosmote.ro.
 
The eligible candidates are youngster of maximum 25 years, with very good school results and very clear career objectives, who graduated the high school in 2012 or 2013 and who have been admitted in a Romanian accredited state-run higher education institution, during the admission session of 2013.
 
The jury members of COSMOTE Scholarships contest for 2013 are: Cristina Bazavan, journalist/blogger with a media experience exceeding 15 years; Mihaela Perianu, founder and managing partner at Aims Human Capital, a company acting for 20 years on the Executive Search and Consultancy, founder and Managing Partner at Dale Carnegie Training; Mihai Popa-Radu, Managing Partner of the consultancy practice Seeds for Success, one of the leading executive coaching and change facilitation providers in Romania; Sorin Psatta, Integrated Communication Director at Graffiti BBDO Romania and Lecturer at the Journalism and Communication Faculty for the University from Bucharest and Catalina Tarabuta, Acting Head of Technology, Customer Care and Operational Office in COSMOTE, with over 6 years experience in recruiting.
