COSMOTE Romania enriches its portfolio with new portable models

COSMOTE Romania enriches its portable computers portfolio by adding two new models: Acer 5742z and Acer eMachines 350, completing the telecom products offer and guaranteeing the experience of a very high quality while navigating on fixed and mobile internet. Moreover, in order to offer its customers more value for money propositions, the company reshaped the Connect 3G postpaid portfolio, offering even more traffic included.

Thus, starting today, the customers can find in COSMOTE Romania's stores Acer 5742z notebook and starting November 22^nd Acer eMachines 350 netbook. The two models will be available at special prices with Connect 3G subscription but also without subscription.

Acer 5742z has a Intel® Pentium® processor P6100 (2.0 GHz, 3MB L3 cache), a video card Intel HD Graphics, 2 GB DDR 3 at 1066 MHZ RAM and 320 GB hard disk. The notebook also comes with Bluetooth 3.0, Wi Fi and a 1.3 MP webcam. The display has 15.6'' HD Acer CineCrystal^TM LED LCD. Acer 5742z has installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system. The model is available in COSMOTE stores at prices starting 1.257 lei (VAT included) with a 24 months Connect Ultra+ subscription and at 2.449 lei (VAT included) without subscription.

Acer eMachines 350 has a 10.1'' LED LCD, a central processing unit Intel® Atom^TM Processor N450 (1.66 GHz, 512 KB cache), a video card Intel 3150, 1 GB DDR II 667 RAM and a 160 GB hard disk, web camera. The netbook has installed Windows XP Home Edition operating system. Acer eMachines 350 will be available in COSMOTE stores starting November 22^nd at prices starting 240 lei (VAT included) with a 24 months Connect Ultra+ subscription and at 1.299 lei (VAT included) without subscription.

Besides Acer eMachines 350 and Acer 5742z, the customers can also find in COSMOTE stores the models Acer Aspire One 532, HP Mini 210 and HP G62. More details on the characteristics and the prices of the models available can be found at www.cosmote.ro.

Furthermore, COSMOTE Romania reshaped Connect 3G portfolio, offering more included traffic for Connect NOW+ tariff plan. Thus, by subscribing to Connect NOW+, all new customers will now benefit from 3 GB included traffic at a download speed of up to 7.2 Mbps, for only 6.71 euro monthly fee (VAT not included).

Connect 3G services are currently available for both postpaid and prepaid customers in approximately 3.300 localities all over the country. The 3G network offers Internet access with high speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps.
