Good Morning,
Nearly 100 United States Marines and Sailors have
arrived to Romania's Mihail Kogalniceanu Airfield, near Constanta, in
support of
Black Sea Rotational Force.
Black Sea Rotational Force is a
Security Cooperationa Marine Air Ground Task Force that has deployed to
the region
to train in partnership with Romanian Land, Naval and Air Forces; as
well as the military
forces of many other partner-nations from the Black Sea, Caucasus
and Balkan regions.
The Black Sea Rotational Force deployment
will officially begin Monday, May 17, and is scheduled to continue
through July.
